iCloud / iCloud Drive FIASCO!!!

I have waited and waited for Apple to fix this, but no. Even the iOS 9.3 update did not fix this, nor have they updated Numbers.

Numbers is now useless to me in that ALL my files that were stored in iCloud are not accessible UNLESS you update to iCloud Drive.

BUT, if I update to iCloud Drive then I LOSE iCloud between my iPad1 and all my other Apple devices. ZERO compatible between all my apps, between all my Apple devices SIMPLY so I can access my Numbers files. grrrrr.

Well, OBVIOUSLY I will not make this choice.

But guess what, I no longer can access my Numbers files which are ARE in iCloud (not iCloud Drive).

Apple, your customer have older devices that they rely on iCloud to link in-between.

Why would I invest in future Apple devices with this situation?
