Syncing files between iCloud and other devices is a total, random cluster F*. Apple needs to get its act together. File syncing is basic table stakes stuff This issue should be embarrassing to the iCloud and Numbers teams. I cant imagine the folks in Cupertino do not see the same issues with their own personal use All of my software, FWIW, is the very very latest releases on all devices I spend 45 mins of my time on a Sunday to get my iPad and iPhone to sync to the files already in iCloud. That is a significant fail

I have been looking for a app that i could make my own calendar pages by the month, and could not find an app that i didnt have to use their templates. I made my own template, and it was so easy with this program! I also made my own check register page that could be printed out to match front and back to make the registers that come with your checkbooks. With this program it was so easy, I printed it out and made 12 books! Love this program!

However, it wont open if I dont have cell/WiFi service. Didnt used to happen and just started with the last update. Please fix this!

Glad this is free, and it certainly is powerful but it is too cumbersome to use and seems counterintuitive compared to other spreadsheet tools. On a new air2 it feels slow and awkward.

Dont waste time or money. No problem before. Now cannot open any worksheets? Anything created in pages similar error document cannot be imported. Same in pages documents. Why? Need an update to fix this so I can access files! Sent feedback to every department listed and no responses! Sad!!!

Will not retreive files from icloud. I even loaded the files on my phone with itunes, numbers still does not see them.

very versatile, and...I find it 10 x more-intuitive-to-use than MS Excel and Google Sheets. Me, a Google fan! With a little effort and studying the included templates, you will be able to customize it to your needs.

Apple programmers have "upgraded" Numbers to the point, now, where it is unusable on the fly. It is both unresponsive and delayed in receiving input much like old PCs were over a decade ago; my input goes into a buffer and later, sporadically populates the screen. This is true for my iPads 4, Mini, and Air. Note that now the Numbers on my non-upgradable iPad 1 is the best version - although it cannot sync with my other tablets. Bad decisions have been made by Apple on this app. Perhaps I need download Excel for iPad???

Copy and paste no longer works for one cell, only multiple cells. The program is slow and sometimes unresponsive so much that I give up using it. Now I am going to have to find a replacement.

This app does not save your data. I never right review, but this app crashes, it takes forever load up a single chart. And it freezes all the time. Happens to my iPhone and iPad . DO NOT TRUST THIS TO SAVE YOUR DATA.

255 column limit? That makes it literally unusable for the spreadsheets I need to make. Unfortunate, since other than that its nice.

I cant believe that this app is so difficult. I have tried it with and without a keyboard on my iPad Pro. Both ways I have similar issues. The app doesnt respond the way it should. I can touch cells and copy and paste ok one time, but the next time it will take multiple touches to get it to respond. Sometimes this ends up with the deletion on the cell, sometimes I can undo the accidental deletion, but sometimes I cant. I love Apple products and think they are amazing and have changed mobil productivity. This app is such a disappointment! Apple you have dropped the ball. Ill try the Microsoft apps to see how well they work. Update 2-14-2016 I did purchased Microsoft 360 and it is working as expected. I have not experienced any of the issues that I had with Numbers. Maybe that is the difference between free and a monthly charge, but I can be productive now!

This app is very easy and seamless to create quick reports and non-complicated excel reports on the go. For calculated format I still recommend Office on a computer over this app. The one issue I have with this application is importing/exporting compatibility. If possible to open this up system wide for all types of documents it would make it that much better.

It would be nice if it had all of the same functions/fonts as the desktop version. There is no sense having this app if all the work you do doesnt transfer to your iPad/iPhone.

Very difficult and time consuming app. Views are not fixed on screen - constantly need to adjust view. Cannot finish a desired view and freeze it. Many failings - how for example do you simply change cell boarder color? Impossible. Not intuitive to find how if even possible. Where is the setting - no boarder from boarder options? Nowhere. Finally gave up, gave up search app help, internet and wrote this review. Please Apple - call the people at Microsoft and ask them how to do this kind of app.

I want to like it as it has a much better user interface than excel but you cant do so many basic functions of a spreadsheet app. The one that made me just download excel is the inability to merge two cells even though I should be able to. The option only sometimes comes up. Unusable. Excel here I come.

Looks like it might be useful, but it runs unusably slow on iPad2. It boggles my mind why developers refuse to acknowledge the limitations of certain platforms. If it runs like garbage on the iPad2, here’s a radical idea… DON’T MAKE IT AVAILABLE ON THE IPAD2 - UP THE FRIGGIN’ REQUIREMENTS! So ridiculously frustrating and a complete waste of 10 bucks. Not to mention iCloud sync doesn’t work at all - that’s just a bonus issue, I guess.

When you format a cell shouldnt it stay formatted? Made a custom format for date and it wouldnt stick and kept returning to its date format. After 5 minutes of frustration I went back to old version of Excel.

Very excellent program lacks only add arrange the names feature from A to Z
